Silo Marina recognised at 2026 NZMOA Awards

Silo Marina has received a Specialist Distinction Award at the 2026 New Zealand Marina Operators Association (NZMOA) Awards, recognising its unique role as a specialist superyacht marina in central Auckland.

The award recognises Silo Marina’s distinctive role in Auckland’s marine and visitor economy, supporting visiting superyachts of up to 140 metres and providing specialist facilities and services including deep-water berthing, shore power, customs and MPI clearance, fuel bunkering capability and 24/7 operational support.

Over the past two years, the marinas team has continued to strengthen the way it operates and supports visiting vessels and crew, while investing in its people, infrastructure and services. This has included improvements to customer processes, operational capability, infrastructure and environmental practices.

Silo Marina was also a finalist for the 2026 Marina of the Year Award, alongside Gulf Harbour Marina, Marsden Cove Marina and Whitianga Marina.

Westhaven Marina was also recognised at the awards, being highly commended in the Outstanding Initiative category for its long-running cadetship programme. Read more about Westhaven Marina’s recognition.

The 2026 NZMOA Awards were presented at the NZMOA Awards Dinner in Tauranga on 24 September 2026.
